why (interactive) identity/brand/mood-board(s)/space(s)?
There are three answers to this question: (

- the first is: because I say so. (AE). So what, you may say. Well, read on.
- moodboards are an important tool in design, to determine possible visual styles, to see what style gives best branding, and to determine what assets fit with the applicication and/or context.
A fortiori, interactive moodboards provide an enhanced instrument for design!
- finally, in the third place, a free style exercise such as the creation of a moodboard, allows you to experiment with the technology,
create visual effects, and more importantly even the aesthetics
that may somehow seemed to be implied by the technology.
In other words, it allows you to sharpen your skills.
- Is there a fourth? No, but this is just to remind you that as
