what I need is ...
"I am looking for someone who is technically sophisticated enough to help me out with a project on "You".
The general idea is to set up an exhibition that, upon entrance, asks the visitor to register (for e.g. safety reasons or some 'regular 'excuse) with full name and city. The exhibition itself will then be exclusively about the visitor himself, displaying/ beaming mostly photographs, but maybe also a google map entry on the adress, some tweets, or facebook comments. The site I believe does this the best that I have seen so far is spezify.com . Although I already have the look of it in my head (and on sketches) I think its nicer to think about this together so you can have some input as well if you are interested. One idea is e.g. to have it not displayed in a gallery space but for example a tram (public space to mix up private and public completely). Oh and btw the info displayed does not have to be completely correct. I think glitches in data retrieval are equally as interesting as the right info (if at least some pics are accurate).
So what I would ask is someone who can help me with a prototype on this (interface, data retrieveal, maybe from spezify, and beaming automatically). The deadline is my collective judgment day (beoordeling) at the end of may. Its short notice I know but I am hoping we can apply with the prototype to some of the tech exhibitions with the help of my supervisor. I ll do that part then again. Of course full credit will be given to you. And if we get accepted we might need to work up a step further than the mere prototype.
I hope you are interested and have some time.
Philip
