- The technology used to create the digital dossier is the Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) with a Blaxxun-browers-plugin. (##http://www.blaxxun.com http://www.blaxxun.com#)



%bold% There are 2 types of models:

1.Information models - models that represent certain types of information.

Text models – models that represents textual information
Video models - models that represents visual motion
Picture models - models that represents static visual information

2. Categorical models – models that represent categories of information.
For example: material node model – a category for information related to materials.

%bold% There are 2 ways of navigating:

1. Navigation through clicking on an information model. That information model becomes the center node and it shows its relations. 

2.Navigation based on search on keywords. The functionality can be found in the button bar on left of the screen.
