The web is currently moving its focus
from server- to client-side computation:
- HotJava (Sun/Netscape) -- applets
- hush -- embedded scripts (Tcl/Tk)
- Grail -- Python scripts
The problem boils down to extending the
language involved with sound synthesis functionality.
